there aren't really many first gens made with that brown interior. i personally think the asking price is too high, especially with that ridiculous alarm and the awful aftermarket wheels. very nice example of an SE. its too bad that there arent many know low mileage S, GS, and GSL models that are know about.

if that is the original paint, then why are the nuts on the shock strut tower also painted?

They're not ... if you look closely its actually a brass color ... if i'm not mistaken, it would actually be a Zinc coating to protect from rust. And that would of been the stock nuts

wheels can be bought fairly easile and restored to near mint condition for not that much, but to find a really good shell such as this and an imaculated interior such as this one too (and because it is brown it doesn't faded down like the burgendy color which makes it just that little more better)

If you read the service records, the brakes were replaced like 2 times? WTF? Was that common back then or do you think it means pads and rotors? Or all calipers?

I would assume just brake pads ... and maybe rotors but I doubt those ...

All I have to say is wow. I think the listing stated that he had the original wheels with the original tires on them. Holy sh-----------------. I hope someone gets that car that can appreciate it.

In the mid 80s they had just switched away from asbestos brake pads and the chemistry wasn't quite there yet. Everyone had problems with short brake life in those days. Or, maybe he took it on the track

To all those who are fixed on the pictures and not the words. He stated that the original Se wheels come with the car.

It is for the stock clarion stereo to move the volume bias to any speaker you want to in the car.

As doc said the wheels come with. May be one of the cleasest se's in the county. I know there are a few others as clean, but I don't know about mileage.
For sure a long term collector car. It would be a shame at this point to turn it into a dd.
