Now don't hurt her feelings...remember, She was a junkyard car, for just under 11 years.

I love snow...how contradictory...needs a-lot of work...not too terribly bad for 11 years in the junk heap...but definitly have your work cut out for you if you plan a ground up restoration...

It looks a bit rusty.

Not to deter you, but you might be better off using/selling parts from it and buying another 7, based on the scary rust shown in the photos. What scares me is that rust really hides, and if you see the outer rust like shown, the hidden parts, like the wheel well, are likely rusty too.

You can find RX-7s in better condition that end up selling for as low as 500 sometimes.

While fixing rust is something you can certainly do, pro's and most of us do it all the time, it is just wise to proceed cautiously before investing a lot of time and money into a rusty car when other options are available. See what you can discover and post your findings.

not too bad, but I'd be scared of the rust, for the pure fact that there's a **** load of it.

But thats just my coservitive side talking, the other half is saying GO FOR IT!!! as I'm about finished with a quarter pannel replacement on my '81.

Or do you just hate the 100inches plus that you get up in 'cuse? Most people that aren't bombarded like where you are like the snow.

Regarding the car...depends on what your plans are for it. Not in hopeless condition judging from the pictures though.

yeah....its is the amount of snow that i don't like.

Now about the rust, those spots of major rust were from before it was in the junkyard. So the **** job the person did has at least held up. And about finding a diff one... If I could find one close enough to me I would. But for now, I'm fine with it. All the more adversity to overcome right :-D

Learn on this one and later on if a better one comes around get it.

The pic in my signature is the Rx7 I just lost to rust in 2005, I learned so much with that car. Mine looked great on the outside but underneath it was pretty rough. Mine was full of holes!! But it still spanked a turbo talon and various stangs!
