Hi, I have an unidentified problem with my FB. Here are the symptoms: really hard cold starts, smoke while im trying to start it (once it starts smoke goes away), and a hesitation when I press the pedal. I did notice that my intake manifold gasket is a little roughed up but IDK if there is a leak.

 

1. Pull the fuel pump fuse.
2. Remove plug wires from cap.
3. Pull the leading plugs out.
4. Take a clean white rag or towel that you dont need anymore.
5. Place rag in front of open spark plug holes.
6. Trun engine over useing starter.
7. Check rag for any oil or coolant spatter

Coolant should be green and oil will be the same color as on you dipstick, it may take up to 30 seconds to see a real result but this test should tell you if your getting coolant in the chamber or if your oil rings are leaking in.
