this car looks so good, it probably like 3inch all around at least 2 inch. anyone know of a drop like this ???

Since that link goes to a huge website talking about all 3 generations of the RX-7, I'll just assume you're talking about the RacingBeat Bonneville car. A 2-3 inch drop isn't streetable. That's a land speed record car, not a daily driver. You could just cut your springs, and see how bad the ride is. Noone makes such a big drop.

that drop is streetable if your not a thrasher, just bearly tucking half inch of tire, and yes i understand that dumped isnt always better or makes it handle perfect. And since where first gen guys im talking about the land speed record Bonneville first gen. I wouldnt cut me springs but i would buy lowering springs. Also my bimmer has 1.5 inch in the rear and 2.0 inch drop in the front, very streetable and i drive it all day, slowinto and out of driveways and just actually drive the car and watch whats going on and you wont destroy everything, thats just my opinion on how that drop is streetable.

That kind of drop is NOT streetable in a 1st generation RX-7. More than 1 inch drop in the front will result in the front suspension bottoming out, possibly wrecking your struts. You need to buy a correction kit to run a lower ride height.

You can use the RB front drop kit that will drop it another 1.4"!

whoa!!! thats to much of a drop and i can tell you its deffinately not streetable. i have the RB's and its an inch lower and i have drouble going over speed bumps my drive way, and random stuff on the road is deadly to the front spoiler. i cant imagine going any lower without geting bigger wheels

Well i have coilovers so all that drop woud be adjusted out. It would keep my suspension from bottoming out.

I've never heard of the front suspension bottoming out due to lowereing springs, because usually the lowered springs are MUCH stiffer than they are shorter. At least thast my understanding.,,

What kind of coilovers do you have? I don't think coilvers by themselves will prevent your suspension (shocks) from bottoming out. You can adjust your car lower but the shock is still in the same postion and it will bottom out.

I was saying the additional drop of 1.4 in could be adjusted out with my coilovers. I know i should get these so i dont have the bottom out issue. Thats all i was saying. And to be honest i dont know what coilovers i have i havent touched em and they came with the car. They are red and gold.

hes running cut racingbeat springs and a custom adjutable Helm joint Watts linkage. he said it was a harsh as hell ride, but it looked slick and handled well.

you get the lowering springs and a swt of sport shocks or something that is for lowered cars. the valveing inside the schock will be destroyed its happening in my bimmer as we speak but it just try no to bansi stuff. but i herd and i guess it isnt streetble,

I got mine on and hte front isnt bad. The issue im having is the rear end. It has the bump stops cut out and it banging the crap out of something. I think its my exhaust. But so far the front isnt a issue but i am going to start autoxing and i want to make sure its not going to effect the cars performance.

Whats a thrasher?

If you still THINK the drop is streetable, at least in the front, try the RB front susp. lowering kit for 1.4" and RB springs for another 1".

That drop is way too low for the streets around here. I have not seen smooth pavements in months.

For new Orleans 1 inch is way too much. It wans't for my girlfriend however; she dumped me!
