Since Aussie didn't get the 13B FI engine that our GSL-SE's had, I'm going to guess this is a 2nd gen engine swap or an old school 13B. If so, which engine, what carby/intake setup and what's the extra vac line needed for. It's all in the details mate.

Iirc, all of your S4 engines were FI, so it has been converted to a carby. What do you need the vac line for? Most of the aftermarket carb/intake setups have vac nipple on the intake mani. If nothing else, post a pic of the intake and the Mazda logo cast into the housings on the left side of the engine.

Guessing that that maybe an old Hitachi carb, Jeff should be able to tell for sure. If so, it should have plastic base plate with vacuum ports on the left side of the carb base. Easiest way to tell is take a pic looking straight down the carb from the top.

If this isn't a Mazda carb, then what is it? If it isn't, then you'll need to find or tap a port in the intake.

I hate playing Dentist and pulling teeth. Try to provide more and as much info as you can without me having to keep asking.
