Exclamation Help with Tokico Blues

I am installing Tokico Blues on the front. The big nut on the top of the strut sleave that is threaded on the inside of the sleave does not fit with the Tokicos. I bought the struts used, should I have received a tappered nut to fit the Tokicos? Or is the nut not needed with the Tokicos?

The shocks do ship with their own nuts to secure into the strut body. Tokico is hard to get the small parts from. Took me 3 months to get a few of the red adjusters for the 5 ways from them.

Anyways, what part of the nut do you figure is tapered?

You can have the end of the stock nut cut off and it will fit, One of my Tokico nuts was stolen along with some other parts, so I just had a machine shop cut the stock piece down and then I hammered it in a bit, then took my channel locks to it.

We were missing one of the nuts and we did what orion stated as well. Worked just fine.
