Help swapping S4 13B into my GSL-SE
i need some specifics on what all i have to do to swap an s4 13B into my GSL-SE. i believe i blew the stock 13B in the SE, and i would like a bit more powerful of a motor but i dont want a turbo II motor and tranny, too much money and time involved, i just want a simple swap.
so for an S4 what exactly do i have to do? is it a direct swap after i reinstall the GSL-SE oil pan and accessories (pumps pulleys etc) or is there motor mounts etc required?
i am soo close to a complete restoration on this car, the motor is the only thing holding me back at this point, any help or referrals/links would be deeply appreciated

The SE front cover and oilpan on the S4 13B,will get you mounted up easily. No worries there.
The rest of the S4 stuff will involve wiring the S4 ECU and a few other minor mods.Youve got a bit easier job since your car is an SE.The fuel system upgrades will be easier. The S4 wiring isnt too hard, but you will have to fab about 10-15 wires into a new left side engine/ECU harness to power the coils,CAS,ECU and fuel pump.Get an FSM and do a search......
