Help with Struts

Hey all....looking for some help. I'm changing out my OEM struts for Tokico HP's.
I got everything off, but I can't get one of the old struts out of the tube.... I've been yankin' on that MF'r for an hour.....
The manual only says remove assembly.....
What do you do?

i had the same problem! i have height adjusters, but i think you could still do this.

i put the spring and strut top back, and then tightened the spring until the shock came out.

it was stuck pretty good! new strut went in with no trouble
