Help! Running rough at low rpm

Well, I was pulling into my complex this evening ... nice and slow over a speed bump, shift into first - and all of a sudden there's a small thud - and she's running really rough at low rpm. I can give it gas and it smooths out around 2800 - but under that the engine is hopping on its mounts and doesn't have much response. I checked that all my plug wires are tight, checked the dizzy cap to make sure its OK. Nothing obvious.

I'd like to make a game plan before tomorrow morning to get her back in shape quickly. She's my DD. Suggestions please!

OK - trying to check things out, ran the car a bit - seems to be OK when cold, but as it warms gets worse. I pulled in and popped the hood ... and thought at first that i was seeing some brake lights spilling into the bay, until I noticed ..... my header was freaking GLOWING! wtf would cause that?

OK - I've sort of been down that path mentally and I buy it. But I'm gonna be a little pissed if that's what it is, cuz I replaced the dizzy 6 mos ago and both coils a little over a year ago.

Since you said you ran over a speed bump, you may have simply knocked a wire loose or the leadiing ignitor may have left the building.

Hey all - thanks for the replies and sorry for the delay.

Well, my problem was that i blew an apex on the rear rotor. Pissed me off at the prospect of spending more $$. Anyway, I decided in the end to do it right, got it rebuild by Pettit, street-ported. Runs like a fricking dream now ... I figure 90% of my car is now 2007 or later ... let's see what 1985 part needs replacing now!
