Help With Random Unplugged Wires

ok, so just got this 82 RX-7, and before its road worthy, i need a brake and lamp inspection and a smog. Main problem is hazzards dont work, but blinkers do. All other lights work fine.

So as it sits right now much of the electrics dont seem to work all of the wiring is still there, but just much of it doesnt work and there is a few "additions" from previous owners (who i know nothing about)

First off i have this thing in the trunk/hatch that looks like it is supposed to be there but i cant find anything about it:

then also i have some various unplugged wires in the hatch also that look like they are supposed to go to lights. on the passenger side i have a blue/white and a blue/black twirled together with no plastic bits on them, just the terminals.
then on the other side it looks like i have the same deal but they are dark-blue/red and dark-blue/orange i think. I also have some dangling plastic connectors on both sides that the wires presumably plug into but the colors dont match.

then the last thing i have is hard to capture in a picture, but i have this rubber hose that comes off the back of something above the exhaust header, and just stops and it probably needs to go somewhere. heres a picture hopefully you can see what im talking about:

in the center of my exhaust there is also an empty hose connection too. Are these supposed to connect somehow? I feel like its going to make my car fail emissions :/ Any help is greatly appreciated.

the pipe going to the middle of you exhaust is air for the catalytic convertor

check the fuses under the dash ..... be sure to pull each fuse out for a visual inspection.... if a fuse is blown it is always obvious when it is installed

....then get in to the complicated ****

The mystery wires in the hatch are probably for the rear wiper that someone previously removed.

That bag is the rear washer fluid reservoir, and it just sort of hangs on the driver's side next to the latch. Yes you have to pull interior up/apart to access it, kinda silly.

Ah that makes sense. I got the Hazzard lights working. The switch just want making contact.

As for the hose to the cat, is there a part number I can get for the hose or do I have to find a used one?

EDIT: ok i found out this part is called the "split air pipe" and found a link on mazdatrix:
https://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.a...m=40-740A-N201

gonna purchase this, and hope someone can sell me the covers for the rear tail lights. Thanks all for the help!

The thread got closed for some reason. I read through it and didn't see a reason it should be closed so I opened it again.

No problem. I'll leave it open as a reference for anyone else that does a search that may have a similar issue.
