help with powersteering removal

Ok well I removed the power steering, and I have one simple question. Would it be ok to remove that line that run from the steering box to the front of the car and back (Im guessing for cooling purposes) and just block those holes. I am NOT talking of the lines that go to the pump and the steering box.

Sure, just loop the lines on the steering sector.

the hard line is there serving as the power steering cooler. since you removed the rest of the components, the "cooler" is not really needed. you can cap the open ends with threaded brass plugs.
edit: or as trochoid mentioned, fashion your own small loop to take the place of the longer cooling line.
