Help Please wireing for carb and other stuff

i posted before but i tihnk i confused people more then anything... so ill try this again heh

ok theres this plug or sensor on the passenger side of the carb, right beside the orange selinoid. its got a red and black wire coming from it... im just wondering if this is of any use ?. or can i leave it disconnected.

Also theres these 2 black single clips, one with a black and yellow wire to it and the other i think is green and black. im just wonder if these 2 should be mated togeather as there male and female clips, and the only ones like it in the area... i followed both wires to the fire wall and it seems to me very unlikly that they should be mated togeather.

thanks
-Rob

The solenoid on the passenger side of the carb is your richer jet solenoid.
I doesn't do anything for you.
