ok i installed a rb exhaust this summer. ran really good for about a month. very noticable power gains, ran better, etc. so about 4 days ago i got on a kick to install an electric fan. i wired it up nicely. used an adjustable thermostat and wired it in through the accesory so it will turn off with the car. works very nicely.
but now the bad part. it seems like the car isn't as fast as it was before installing the e-fan. the pulley below the alternator fell off when removing the thing that held the old fan. so i went to lowes and got some shorter bolts and put it back on. the alternator runs fine now. the belt doesn't even squeel at high rpms anymore. but it just seems like the car doesn't have the get up and go like it had before i messed with the fan. could i have broken something and have a power loss or could it be i am just used to the new power? thanks
