help need with my 85 gslse

I just replaced my injector with rebuild one also new injector clips new fuel filter. All new gaskets on intake man. It take me afew to adjust things to get it started. ok it idle is perfect but if you give it gas around 1100 rpm it stumbles up to 1700 rpm then it smooths out and you can rev it no problem, also if you put it in gear it buck under 2k rpm and no power after 3500 rpm and will not go past 6400 rpm. i have taken it apart 6 or 7 times now and still have the same problem.

You may want to check the fuel tank. There is a filter in the pickup tube inside the tank that often gets clogged. Although it is a PITA it would be a good time to look over your entire fuel system and if needed do a good flushing. Good luck fixing the issue.

Going to ask the same question that we need to know always!

Did you just buy this car and you are now starting it or have you owned it and it ran fine before you did the work?

Also need to test fuel pressure and volume output.

Test the TPS also.
