help! need full exhaust for my GSL-SE in NC

For all of you who have the same problem I have..... "emissions"... in NC..if you have a GSL-SE, what exhaust have you put on your car that will pass emissions in NC and will give you the best performance? I would like to get the best exhaust I can but of course , I need to pass emissions. Also, I do not want a loud exhaust. I am not a teenager. What do you all suggest?? Shall I just go to the local exhaust shop ?? Let me know what you think....I need to act pretty soon..thanks....cjf

I have emissions here in GA as well. I planned on getting a RB full exhaust, and just keep my stock for the one day a year I have to smog the car.

High flow cats seem to be rather expensive, and I was told that the oil injected in the rotor housing would accelerate the demise of the cat. I don't know for sure though.

Go with the full RB setup. You have two choices though, you can go with the presilencer with the air injection port (for 5&6 port operation) or not (use the air pump mod) then you need to decide if you get the straight headers or the one with the O2 sensor. Either way you will not pass emisions with this setup. You will need to keep your origional and swap out when its time for testing. No sense in putting a cat setup inline with this, you would be going 4 steps forward then another 2 back. Its well worth the hassle to swap em out, more of a hassle to incorperate.

I got a "stock" replacement from these guys that seems to be of pretty good quality. They aren't too far, so maybe shipping wont be too bad either.

isn't it a real pain to swap out the exhaust every year to pass emmissions?? what a pain in the -ss. I would rather not have to do that...is that what most of you are doing ??? ..ps: thanks for the above info. too
