ok my 84 gsl is die out at high speed about 65 and up die out in the expressway only has new fuel filter, new pump and new ing. coils still die out am at the point of blowing it up. I wait 10 min. and starts runs for mile or so and dies out again. so give me a hand so my 7 back on the road.

i had this happen to me in a bug once....

I was getting so pissed. I finaly took the carb apart and there was a little piece of rubber or some thing in it. It would jiggle and clog the air flow... the car would die. I'd wait, then it would clear up and drive for a bit.... maybe after the vacum let go of the blockage.

Could be the problem, my 2cents

ok found the problem bad ing. igniter replace with good used one. she runs like new
