Help me plan mods for my '85 GSL-SE

Ok, having sold off two of my '83 RX-7's (an S and a GS) i am now down to one '83 LE that i drove overheated to the point of white smoke (now the carbureted bastard wont start!), and a 1985 GSL-SE with a new (29k miles) tranny. I am considering buying another GSL-SE in better condition located near me, but thats down the road at this point. For now i want to focus on the SE. Interior (maroon) needs new leather maroon drivers seat (PM if you want to sell me one, or a pair in good condition), interior panels that are faded are going to be taken care of, i am going to have them all reupholstered with vinyl for a brand new appearance. I have a set of fender flares that i am going to have molded on to the rear flanks, i also want to buy a Mariah Mode Four front bumper as well as a nice rear spoiler. in summer of 2005 i plan to swap out the 13B N/A for a 13B turbo II motor and tranny. I also need to fix a few minor things, get new 195/50 R16 front, 215/40R16 rear tires, replace some window motors, get it repainted (to the bronze color of my '83), slap on a rear hatch louvre (want to sell yours? PM me) and install a decent audio system, wider side skirts, and remove the cats as well as install a 2.25 inch custom exhaust. right now she runs great, but her battery is dead and i cant disarm the security system. for now she sits in storage for the winter. heres a pic of 'Blingie', '85 for sale, 2,500 (lots of new parts). as far as me, ive been perusing this site (which is awesome!) but have been spending most of my time and effort on my '02 Acura RSX, but the rotary bub has bitten me again. i have owned 5 RX-7's total in the 2 1/2 years since i graduated from high school. the original intent was to fully restore one and give it to my father as a present (he had a silver '79 RX-7 'S' with a carbureted 12A back in '79 and still claims it was his favorite car ever, even moreso than his current '01 M3). however, things didnt go as planned, and now i have 2 RX-7's that i am slowly working on in secret. the '85 has 144k miles on it, NO RUST, and body is in near perfect condition.

you can start by getting rid of those rims

then u can do an exhaust system, intake, removal of stupid unnecessary under hood ****, and then extensive weight reduction

Hahaha yeah i didnt pay for the rims, they came with the car...NOBODY likes 'em! unfortunately i dont have the stock rims as the seller had gotten them stolen back in the '80's. as far as 'stupid underhood ****' i assume you are referring to the 'rats nest' and stock air intake. as far as weight reduction i want to restore the car as much as possible, while at the same time upgrading performance a bit. i bought a piece of aluminum pipe that i am going to have mandrel bent to be a real cold air intake and attached with a custom clamp system. i want fully functional AC, power steering, etc. i think a decent (i.e. NOT CHROME) set of 16's, preferably 4 or 8 spoke, would suit her nicely. Since im going to do a Turbo II swap, im not going to do any real performance modifications until the swap is complete, so only cosmetic and restorative stuff for now. BTW how the HELL did you remove 220 lbs from your RX-7 Gregs? I want to install some insulation/sound-deadening material in place of much of the stock rotted-out crap, then recarpet the interior. Hehe i got a kid with a Civic that wants the rims...

On another note i find it odd how soo many rotary fans hate Honda's. i have had 2 Honda's and i love both of them, but i realize that they are NOT sports cars, just FWD sports compacts.
