Question Damn low coolant buzzer!!

My buzzer is going off because it says my coolant is low even though it is at the top and there is lots of coolant in it. Ive searched around and tried some of the things others did but it didnt work. Im thinkin im just gonna disconnect. Has anyone ever done this before? Where is it? I just know its in the dash on the drivers side. any advice would be great.

Thanks,
Steve

maybe your sensor itself is bad... if you really want the buzzer/ light go to autozone and get yourself a new one

or you could just do what I did and ground the wire to the - terminal, its not called an idiot light for nothing

You probably have an air pocket in the system. Remove the sensor and see if there is a small amount of air.

If the wire breaks for the coolant level sensor, the light and Buzzer will come one

I have the old beehive type oil cooler. One time I had to patch a coolant hose to the beehive and ended up with a kinked hose (just trying to get it home at that point). Even though the coolant was full, the low coolant alarm kept coming on. This probably has nothing to do with your issue, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case. Good luck!
