Help me choose right water pump please

Hi there

I'm in the process of ordering a new water pump from www.tweakit.net and need some help choosing the right one. Basically my engine is a series 4 13B turbo converted to N/A. Im using a 12A front cover and 12A electronic dizzy. The tweakit website has a few choices but ive narrowed it down to these two. The one says its basically for the FB from 1979 - 85 for 12A/13B. The other says 13B/13b turbo S5 1989 and up. The link is here so you can take a look. Seems silly i know just want to make sure i order the right one, or perhaps they will both work?

Thanks

I would assume you would match it to the front cover. But I cant really say for sure.

It seems odd they don't list S4 water pumps. Their pumps also aren't OEM, they have the cheap pressed blades, not the cast ones.

You need to match the water pump to the water pump housing (unless your changing the pump AND the housing). Assuming you would be using the S4 Turbo housing and pump, which would mean you'd need a Turbo water pump.

+1
Housing to front cover, pump to to housing.
Although you can mate an 86-88 housing, with a 79-88 pump, to a 12a front cover, with a little work.
