Help iding chewed up wires on a 79 sa.

Hi while i was doing some work under the back seat i found two wires that have been broke off which i think happened because of the two dead rats in there. Can you guys help know what they are i think one is the trunk release but not 100% sure they each go to the doors one on each side thanks guys.

They are aftermarket speaker wires, or at least that's what they look like.

Most auto wires don't run in pairs like that. Except speaker wires.

Definitely not stock wire. Maybe PO had a speaker box in the rear that they took out later?

Someone added that speaker wire to the car. The original speakers can be made to work with aftermarket wiring. The original wiring is not run under the door sill plastic and the wires are color coded.
