help i have a problem

well my car is been for a week idiling cold at 1200 rpm. it use to go up to almost 2k rpm. what could be. thanks

Nothing to worry about. Just tune the air fuel mixture till it sounds really great. Then back it off 1/4 turn.
If you've never done it, there may be a soft metal bullet shaped cap that is crimped on the mix screw. Carefully pry this off WITHOUT DAMAGING THE SCREW UNDER IT!!!
It's best to spin it with pliers and wiggle it back and forth. Damaging the idle screw will leave ya, well...
screwed.

he has an se. i think that would make it a bit difficult.

Having an SE, you would have a throttle cable too right? Maybe its not returning all the way! I had this problem with my car and it would stick all the time. Good cruise control but not good when you want to stop. I'd tell you to try to pull out the choke but that's stupid considering you have EFI. lol.
