Help - FB Susp. Tech 1 1/8" sway bar install problems

I am installing suspension techniques big sway bar. The instuctions say to "mount the anti-swaybar to the vehicle using the factory bushing brackets."

The problem is that the brackets are to small or Im not smart enough to figure out how to use them. Also the "tension compression rod assembley" hole that the sway bar goes through seems small for this big sway bar.... do I just dremmel it to a larger diameter?

Please help.

thanks,
chris

looks right bushing to me.

i have a ST 1 1/8" sway bar in my 81 and I love it.

Had to take the front brackets off the front end. You know, the two brackets that the sway bar slide thru. bitch to get off. Besides that, it was simple bolt in.

no grinding or dremel required

they compress as you tighten the bracket to the frame - but not that much!
