HELP--engine temps?
I want to install an aftermarket temp gauge (autometer) in my '80 rx-7 with a street ported 13B.
The gauge is only going to read degrees Farenheit and all the stock gauges Im used to just go from C (cold) to H (hot).
The question is, what temperatures (in degrees Farenheit)
correspond to Cold, Normal and Hot in a rotary motor?
thanks

I have a ported 12a and I also have an aftermarket temp guage(Cyberdyne digital) and mine typically ran around 200 degrees, obviously depending upon the temps outside. Had ran as much as 215-220 if I sat in traffic in the summer. Definately worried me.
I finally used header tape and a heat shield for my Weber and it dropped the temps a good 20 degrees. Now in the dead of AL summer, it rarely gets to 200 degrees.
