help with current values

I have looked here, ebay and autotrader to get an idea what to ask for my 85gsl.Its a real nice car with 83k on it,great service history backed up with documentation.Blue book or NADA are not very consistant, and I cant catch an auction ending price on ebay to see where they end at.Anyone that can give me a rough idea what its value is would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I can't help you out too much, but I did just buy an early production 79(5/78) GS with 76,xxx miles, and I paid $2000 for it.Some on here have said I got a good deal, and others on the sa22c list have told me I paid too much.I think I got a great deal with all of the documentation, and such from the original owner of the car,and all I can say is any car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.I think you will do ok with the car being an 85,but it would be worth more as a -SE.Good luck, and remember there are many people on here that live in the west where these cars are a little more common, and mostly rust free,so their worth of these cars may be lower than someone like you or me in the rust belt/east coast.
