Help cars bucking!!!!

Hey all, My 84 gsl is actting up and i not sure what the problem is. I will be driving around like normal and then all of a sudden when i go into 2nd or 3rd the car will started to buck and have like no power i pump the paddle and it climbs so slow. I could hold the paddle to the floor and nothing no power. So when i come to the next light i will turn off the car and then turn it back on rev it up and it will be fine again and drive perfect. But after awhile she will started to do it!!!!

Has this happen to any of you and whats the fix? Is it something to do with the carb like the floats are opening right? I aint sure what the ****** problem is.

Thx

Ummm, have you checked you fuel filter? Or possibly your fuel pump? Sounds delivery related, although don't count out a sticky float.

Get some new spark plugs. I've had that happen before, plugs get fouled and it starts running like it has a blown rotor. What I do to fix it is rev the **** out of it, cleans up the plugs a bit, but they'll get fouled again in a couple days. Check the rest of the ignition system too to make sure it's not a weak spark causing the plugs to foul.
