Hi. I think I finally found a great deal, but it seems too good to be true. The car is at this link: http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...ar=1983&color=

What do you think I should look out for, besides the price. The guy said it has an exhaust problem, where smoke comes out, but he's 100% sure it's the exhaust. The car apparantly will still run fine with the current exhaust though. What should I check for to make sure of that? I'm making a list of questions to ask him when I call him in like half an hour. It seems like it's in great condition, with super low miles. How much do you think it's worth? I wanna make sure I don't waste my time and money going up there tomorrow, because it's 5 hours away from me, and train tickets will be $240 total for me and my dad to get up and back. Hopefully we'll just get one way tickets and drive the car back though . Thanks so much.

It smokes, that's the main problem. A rotary can smoke and be healthy but it can also smoke and be very very unhealthy. I would pay 3000 max for that car if it didn't smoke.
