what is a targa band and what does it do to help and what's so rare about them?

 

Targa band is a silver band that goes across the top of the car--from the bottom of the passenger window to the bottom of the driver window, inbetween the space between the window and the rear quarter panel windows. What's so rare? They are fairly rare!

Apparently on other cars they have some sort of function, but on an RX7 they are purely cosmettic, and rather rare
