Hello, new to the forum

I have been a lurker on this forum for a while and decided to join.

I used to own an 80 RX-7 SA and although it went through 2 different bodies I had the same engine from the time I was 16 until I was 26.
When I owned my RX I lived in Tampa, Florida so after I realized he existed, I used Jeff at Maztech the repairs that I couldn't do myself.

Anyway, I am about ready to get back into another SA or 1st gen, primarily because I auto-x a 97 maxima presently and I think it would be more fun with my old RX.

I didn't have a digital camera back then, so if I can find some old pictures I'll try to scan them.

There is a guy on the maxima boards that has switched to a Miata for auto-x, I always argue that I never lost to a Miata in any race when I had my SA. I don't see many 1st gen RX's in my region's (phillyscca.com) events are they competitive with Miatas for auto-x?

Welcome to the forum! How competetive they are vs the Miata probably depends on the class. When I used to run CSP I usually beat them, about %90 of the time. In Stock class they would probably kill us.
