Bought 13b plugs, can use in 12a?

I bought some new NGK plugs for an 86 I was going to buy but the motor was blown. I still have the plugs and just bought an 85 GS (12a). The plugs are (L) BUR7EQ and (T) BUR9EQ. Can I use these?

It isnt going to be a good idea, they have a different/higher voltage need than the older 12a plugs, so the fire and spark will suffer.

The car was a piece of ****. I picked up the GS in my sig for $325. Has a few minor rust spots and needs a paint job (faded), 110psi on both rotors, 139k mi, excellent interior and even has a newer cd deck. I think I did pretty good

minnesoda, home of icey salty roads, better check the wheel wells behind the storage bins. Better yet rip the storage bins out, they are ugly cheap and a waste of space

With 120 shot, you probably needed higher sparking plugs, along with direct fire. 12A plugs are a better option with stock ignition. Just because something works, doesn't always mean it works better.
