Talking Hehe, guess what I found at the yard today

There I am, searching through the remains of cars past their day, and I saw an RX-7. As I approached, I noticed the front looked slightly different. It was fiberglass on the bottom and had two big holes for square driving lamps. That's right, it's the one that Mazdatrix sells (or at least looks identical). Hell yes. The part that goes across the bottom is broken and there's a few cracks here and there, but I'm handy with fiberglass so...
I took that, a steering wheel, and a little brake line to the guy. He said "40 for everything". It being broken, I said "20". Done deal.
AND my suspension came today. It just keeps getting better. Just thought I'd share my find. Later.

Man, I wish my junk yards weren't all chiselers. The only decent one around sold off the last RX they had to some collector...

The yards here get a new 7 every 3 months or so. I need to move to a bigger town.

people complain about cops but I would have to say next to the insurance industry juck yards have to be the most underhanded, yellow belly swindelers that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

I just pulled my 2nd RB street header out of a junkyard today. So far I've spent $30, and have two $100+ headers. Not too bad!

I've started going about once a week to this particular yard. They've got a pretty quick turnover.

Hey Richard; you are sooooo right. The guy who runs the one I frequent is the biggest redneck scumbagi have ever met in my entire life. I am serious, this guy wants outrageous sums of money for stuff that is crap. God I hate going there but all the other yards out here don't have an FB's. Arrrrggg makes me mad

My first junkyard experience found my showing the metal radio bracket thingy that holds the three piece radio together. The guy said "$10" and I said "Whaaaaaat? Hell no" I wanted it so I offered five and was pissed, he said ok. I didn't have cash so I pulled out the card and said "Naw man, go away, just take it." Bitch.

Right on.

Cool deal. Some of the best finds are at boneyards.
