Ok, finally got one done. Not the greatest since my camera sucks. Carlos ended up doing the run while I was at work. Remember i'm still breaking it in, so don't expect to see it fly. I'm still pissed at him for revving it once he turned it on. Damn Honda guy!

Superchargers do have a very differnt sound. Congrats on the fine works, I'm impressed with the ingenuity it took to put that setup together.

 

He likes the Rotary. I think he's having too much fun with it. He's gonna have to get his own cause I worked too hard on this one.

Yes the carb sounds great, and I don't know if you guys can tell from the video, but it sounds like a rocket. Very cool. As you know I still have some tunning to do.

That was awesome. I never knew the supercharger had such an audible whine... at first I was like "what an odd noise" but then when you were on the road and it blended in, and you took off..... my goodness.

And Kim, it suprised the heck out of me to see my name at the end! I can't think of how I could possibly have helped make this project possible, and all I can offer is my appreciation. You've done an amazing job, and you're an inspiration to us all.

I think my second FB is going to be supercharged (I haven't bought one yet, but the day will come)

Edit: So I couldn't resist watching it again and you know what occurred to me? When you got to the part where you were accelerating with nobody in front of you, it sounded exactly like that sound at the beginning of George Lucas films where it says "This film has THX!" and you get that ultimate noise from the fifty some-odd speakers in the theatre. I'm gonna remember that and laugh my *** off next time I see a "THX" certified movie in theatres!

Why a sc over a turbo?
The sound,
The bolt on aspect,
The originality,
The ease.
The price.

In no particular order. I have no resources for a turbo here, then theres the fact that Robert pointed out. I also don't like to half *** stuff, so setting up a turbo on my fb would of cost tripple of what i've put in.

 

That is a thing of beauty, the sound is unique. How is it off the line? Does it snap your neck back? I have to give it to you and your dedication, time, and attention to detail and of course letting your hubby help you is a great plan. We got to get him off those hondas

This is a great example of what else you can do to an Rx-7. Turbo is not the only way. Hey how about some nitrous, hehe

 

Sweet ride. I do love that engine compartment, one could eat off that. I would love to see you line it up against that red Porshe that you pass in the video. Wipe the smile off that rich puke's face.
