Angry Headlights won't work

I've got a problem with my headlights, they won't come on. The lights come up and all other lights work. Tried putting in other bulbs and still nothing. I don't have any fusible links to go out. 2nd gen fuse block, all fuses look good, but missing cover so I'm not sure which one is for the headlights.
The only thing I can think of is the switch itself, but wouldn't the rest of the lights not work if it was bad?Any ideas?

Also the high beam indicator comes on when the lights are turned on, when the flashers or the left turn signal are used. Wierd and very irritating

Thanks. It's got me stumped. I'm also gonna borrow a switch from my friend. If that doesn't do it, definately gotta be in the wiring.
