got a problem and need advise. jumped in the 7, turned on the lights and while headlights work fine both doors only opened half way. now they won't go up or down. got them open with the hand adjustment.
When turning the lights on or attempting to opening the doors with the headlight door switch the headlight idiot light does not come on. all the mech. parts (arms, bushings, ect) seem fine. within 2 days of having this problem the battery went totaly dead, even the clock would not work. after pulling the battery and charging it i noticed that when cables are attached loud clicking occures in BOTH motors with lights turned on or off. I assume a short somewhere...but... where do i start looking.... replacing the consile mounted headlight door swith with an extra, know good swith did nothing... HELP!
