having major problems with upgraded parts fitment
I started on Wednesday with a good schedule to put respeed parts in my car. I started with a grannies 8.8 axle level 5 kit and it took 2 days more than expected. I also have the respeed R$P kit as well as the respeed Sway bar and respeed big brake kits. In addition to that I have some coilovers I bought on here.
problem one. where is the damn steering sposd to go. a picture would be best. I attached how I think it should go but it doesnt match pictures I seen online.
problem two these coilovers seem to have too small of springs. I am worried they will hit my hood.
problem three. how the hell do you get the frak'n hub spindle off of the 2nd gen nuckle? I am about to just go buy one new. I beat it with a 20lb hammer with no luck.
I will keep posting in here as I go. I want to have this car at least on wheels by tomorrow so I can pay $3 a day instead of $51 a day at the shop. ($3 lot storage and $51 lift bay)

Yeah those can come out since you have the brace on the back with re-speeds r&p kit. And that cap just pops off normaly, if a good pair of pliers doesnt work you can grab a punch/chisel and hammer and tap it out from the side'ish lol. Its inda pressed in but not real tight, normally just hit in with a rubber mallet.

Yeah, shutup kid.
For the front struts, the bump stops go underneath the top spring perch. Also, in the picture you're missing the upper strut plate/mount, the part that actually bolts to the shock tower.

Yeah, shutup kid.
Once you bolt on the upper strut mount, there's no way it can hit the hood, the top will be bolted in place and will not move.
I'm not sure what coil over kit that is, the springs do look really short. Here's a pic of the re-speed race kit that's going on my car.

those are ground control coil overs. I will be picking up a set of respeed fronts later on. Right now I just want it on the wheels so I can pull it into the parking lot and save $48 a day.
