Has anyone removed their Headlight Motors and now open/close them manually?

You'll regret removing them if it's a street car. I'd only go that far into weight reduction if it was a track only car.
Maybe you could remove everything but the swivels so it moves up and down easily by hand. Rig up 2 little rods to act like a hood prop. Prop them open when you need them, and fold the prop down like you do in your engine bay for your hood and let the lights sit flat.
