with pressure backing up the air, is turbulence really an issue? It should just help mix up the air.
(could be wrong)
Rotary Shack makes a very similar box.

Why did you use a modded nikki instead of looking for a used carb setup like mikuni, weber, or holley? The only reason I ask is because the CFM on a stock nikki is only 313cfm. After modding the most you can flow through it is about 345cfm. A small holley such as the racing beat holley is rated at 465 CFM. A lot more hp to be gained. anyway just my curiosity?
This is cool because today I finished putting my Wastegate together with my Exhaust Manifold and I tapped into my Oil pan and installed my Oil Return Line with AN fittings. I also removed my entire exhaust system, so now I'm ready for the Downpipe and new exhaust to be run. I also removed my Fuel tank and plan on running NEW lines from the tank back. I'm looking at being able to run my 7 around a month from now.
Your Rex looks cool and It makes me work even harder on mine.

What was it that kept you from titling it? Must have been serious to have to scrap the whole project.
Did you ever get a chance to run it any?
Damn, this wasn't the resolution to this thread I was hoping for. Fooey!

Problem is, now you have a fuel/air mixture, so you can't use an intercooler... If the fuel condenses or collects on the walls of the intercooler piping, A.) It's not getting into the engine. B.) It's a fire/explosion hazard.
However it doesn't require boost prepping the carb. I don't seen why anyone would make this kinda trade though... Cheaper I guess...
BlowThrough puts the carb on the intake manifold like it's supposed to be. The Turbo/Super charger Blows into it. You can put an intercooler in there if you want because everything coming outta the charger is just hot air. It doesn't get mixed with fuel till it hits the carb.
Problem is, now you have to boost prep the carb. Carb wasn't designed to handle greater than atmospheric air pressure. More costly, but much more potential power.

Dealing with simmilar problem right now. Other then on mine the guy gave me the title, just didn't sign/notorize it. So... i can't get it titled/liscenced. And i didn't even catch it until i went to the courthouse to try and get everything squared away so i could start driving it.

Ehh as far as I've heard, "modded" nikki's flow 430 or even more....
that's about the same as the holley...
