here are some pics for everyone

my plug list

GAMBLE for the turbo and manifold
ROBERT AT ROTARY SHACK for modifiying my nikki for boost
and numerous vendors across the internet

on to the pics

tomorrow i put the fuel pump in, monday i get my SS braided oil lines made with an fittings, and tap my front cover for the return

and later in the week, probably next saturday i get my downpipe and wastegate dump made and she will be ready to fire up

im so ****** excited i cant wait

hope you guys apprieceate this post

Sorry, that came out wrong. By your original post, I had understood that you were working on it for months.

Those cheap ebay BOV's work just as good or better than the name brand ones. No need to upgrade, spend your money on other goodies!

Just a suggestion - could you use the turbo to intake tube off a Jspec 12A turbo engine? It'd probably take a little modification to fit your turbo and carb, but it would look great and have a nice smooth inner surface so as not to fuxor the flow from turbine to venturi.

Nice work! Can't wait to hear about your first drive in it. What FPR is that you're using?

I was just thinking how that carb hat looked like it would mean a nightmare of turbulance for the air going in there... Though I've seen a few setups like that, so I assume it works. That's a good suggestion for a solution Manntis, I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever do a 12aT.

Gregs: How much did that all cost you? Modded Nikki? Dude, that's cool! Sure must cut down on the cost of going turbo.

Good job!
Jon

your setup slays ****.

i dig.

do you have to do any drive line upgrades. clutch, tranny, rear end?

and on a related side note. how much juice can the stock drive line take. i heard from an unreliable source that they used the fb trannies in the fc's. how much truth is in that?

sorry about changing the subject.

stock gsl-se driviline (what i have on my car) is supposidly good to 300whp, im shooting for 260whp so i havent upgraded my driveline
im going with a racing beat street/strip clutch pressureplase setup eventually, the carb hat isint bolted down yet i need to weld and extention bolt on there and tighten it down

im going to be running anywhere from 9-14psi depending on where i am, ala street/ dragstrip

ive got a little over 1100 into it right now
