Has anyone mounted a TII center scoop on a steel hood?
Hyper4mance- a Weber does not need a cold air duct, the difference between external air and internal air while moving is minimal. A turbo engine needs an intercooler once boost is above 5psi due to the high temperatures caused by compression. The same condition does not exist on a NA set-up.
The typical IDA or DCOE carb configuration is a direct cone air filter. I ran twin 45s for many years with open trumpets off the side of the block, minimal impact on air flow.

mariah does not sell that hood, with that scoope.
they sell another scoope, it looks like a z-28 scoope.
but they sell fibreglass hoods, somewhere around $700.00 dollors. berns is a one-off hood with metal, fibreglass, and scoope. you might ask bern where he/mariah bought the scoope from ? I agree , that hood looks awesome. too much money for non-carbon fibre,
for me though. thats why i do my own 'glassing now.
it really isn't that hard to do. really !! Oh man !! the revulation <? is going on RIGHT now. maybe next year.
