Has anybody used the Ground Control weld-on coilovers?

Hi there, I recently pulled out the struts from the front of my FB and I would like to know if there's anyone who's either done the welding themselves or has instructions and measurements on how to exactly get them welded.

When I contacted GC, they gave me kind of a vague guide on how to assemble the coilovers (I attached the pdf).

Thank you to anyone who can help me with this.

Here's a review Johnny_Cracker did a few years ago when he put them on. Not sure if it will answer all your questions but it has pics and his experience doing the job...

What do you not understand? You cut off the original spring perch and weld the flat piece 6 1/2" above the spindle piece as shown. The rest of the pieces are then stacked on that.
