hard starting

Question hard starting

i have a 12a turboed sandrail that im running a draw through system on. it has a holley 600. it wont start. i can pull start it and it fires right up but it wont start with the starter.

Clean or change your plugs, check you're getting strong spark. If thats good are you getting enough gas.

Back to basics, fuel, spark and air.....

I gather it is turning over...

Compression Check?

Draw through is known for beeing hard to start and flooding.

when i pull start it starts right up a little harder when it is cold. if i shut it off i can restart it with the starter right after i shut it off. but i f i wait i minute it wont start.

...hmmm...almost like a hot start assist issue...cept the other way around from normal...lol

if checking all the basics doenst help...check the voltage to your starter...and the ground...you may have a weak starter...if there is a local schucks, kragen, or checkers around...they can check that for free (considering you can start it and get it down there)

anywho...good luck with it

clogged idle circuit if it starts after a spray of starting fluid.
