Hard to start when warm.. ?
i know it doesnt make sense..
in the mornings.. it starts up great.. but like for example i driver her then turn the engine off.. talk to a few peeps for like 10mins or so.. come back.. and YANK YANK YANK CRANK CRANK.. its friggen hard to start..
wat gives?
it aint the rats nets.. because even with the brand new weber its still does it... even much harder to start than the nikki!
but for example if i turn off the engine.. then come back in 30 mins.. it will be so easy to start again..
or another example..
i turn off the engine.. .. and start her again right away.. its easy to start.. so like less than 3mins after turned off..
its only when i leave it for like 6-10mins its friggen hard to start..
its driving me nuts..

On a stock engine you have a hot start assist, which essentially opnes the throttle 1/4-1/2 way when the engine is warm.
Just hold down the throttle while you crank it! Should fire right up.

How old is the engine? Low compression will show up first with difficult hot starts.
Like Tom said, the hot start assist (if gone) can be replaced with your foot.
And I had a car that had a hell of a time starting hot. The problem went away with a good carb rebuild.
