hard to start when cold outside
I have a 79 12a that has 75k orig miles. The car is in good shape and runs well. One of the few problems is that when the temp drops below 50 degrees it is hard to start and keep running until it warms up. If the temp is warmer it starts right away and runs well. I have replaced everything (plugs, filters, wires, points, rotor, cap) question: do you think that going with a hotter set of coils would make it easier to start in cold weather?
Thanks in advance for any help.
ps. The choke is in good working order but seems to make no difference in these situations.
