What type of Falkens do you have?? B/c I was looking on their site and Falken only offers the rt-615s in 195 14s and not 205 14s.

Just wondering

The HANKOOK RS-2's are the best all around street tire since the KUHMO MX. For price and performance they are hard be beat... ready for autocrossing or track days/ daily driving. Their grip almost matches the Falken Azenis RT-615, but are better in wet conditions. The RS-2's are used as the spec rain tire for the MX-5 Cup racing series.

with a 5.5 inch wide rim you can fit a 205 on there, actually you can fit a 215. Dont quote me on the last one tho. Go to the kuhmo website and check out the V10? Basically the widest lowest profile tire you can get for a 13 inch rim, too bad they arent street legal. These are what i was planning putting on my 7 but i said **** it. too expensive at 175 a piece COST, at my cost. I only payed 140 for my kuhmo esctas. Hopefully those go on the car soon if i can find a set of mustang rims. Crosses fingers.

it is safe to run smaller tires on a bigger rim.this supposedly strengthens the side walls and increases the contact patch...or some **** like that. A lot of touge guys do it.They call it hipari in japanese.....

hipari stretch is like a 9in WIDE wheel with a 205 wide tire, this is possible, but a tire ment for a 13in tall wheel on a 14 is probably impossible to install and if actually done, the tire would probably tear. Changing widths is OK but hieghts is a no no

I'm 99% sure that 205s are the absolute max you can put on the front. Lowered cars may have problems with rubbing, but I cannot say that they will or will not.

I think 225 would probably be maxing out the back, as well.

I was thinking of getting some 215s or 225s for the back of my car and 205s for the front, but I don't know how good of an idea that would be....
