Haggety insurance regular plates

Has anybody here have hacerte insurance and don’t use historical plates I have the insurancepaper and it has historical on it and I don’t really want to have historical plates I’ve hesrd of guys driving with regular plates is it posibile I’m in nyc

I don't know about NY, but here in CT There is no connection between insurance and registration type. If your car is old enough you have the option of classic vehicle plates, but you can go regular too. NY appears to work the same way.

The insurance company MAY require historical plates because in many states, historical plates have mileage limitations. You may check with the insurer to confirm what they might require.

I went with Grundy, they were a quarter of the cost. Ha Getty hit me with a low premium initially, then after underwriting they jacked it up 75% just because I live near the beach.

I have Hagarty on my GSL-SE with regular plates as a classic car insurance.
