http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...;s%20Chevrolet Let me say first off he was talking down on people's cars and saying he hated rice (rice to him is any asian car). Read my first post then read what he said in return.

"The '85 rx-7 gsl-se was roughly $9k brand new, whereas the 305 camaro was roughly $10k new."

ummm........... i don't think you are right there buddy! i have a magazine article from 1984, and it has the base price of the gsl-se as a little over $15,000.00.... so do a little research! not trying to rain on your parade, but don't think it was $9k. but hell, i could be wrong

There is no way the 85 RX7 GSL-SE was 9k... 15 seems a LOT more realistic.

Okay, well he doesn't need to know that. I heard somewhere they had a sticker price of $9k, but whatever i guess i was more furious that someone with a v-6 camaro was talking bad about ALL japanese sports cars. Maybe if he had a 383 with 450hp i wouldn't mind so much.

They were alot more pricey than i realized. I guess i should have researched a bit before posting, we all make mistakes though and i'm sure he won't catch mine, but another point, a $7k 79 would be a better performance car than his camaro.
