Guestimate power output

Hey all, so I went thru a truck scale to weigh my car ('85 GSL-SE) today, comes out at 2668lbs with me and a 3/4 tank of gas... not bad seeing as everything is still in there. Only visable mods are the headers & exhaust with no cats, and my trusty K&N

Now, I pull away solidly from my friends mkiii supra turbo which based on dynos and 1/4 test done by other people with the exact same mods would put him at 259hp~ and a 15.0s 1/4... So... presuming he can drive, what would you suspect has been done internally? Keep inmind this is the stock RE-EGI setup w/ working 5th & 6th ports.

Any guestimates? It'll be a while before I get intouch with the guy who actually did the work so..

I can't help myself, curse my eyes....here we go again....you can have all the same mods even done by the same shop and mechanic, but that does not mean you know for sure you're making the same power. Look at the IROC series and see for yourself. Even as heavy as a Supra is, 259 HP at the flywheel or his rear wheels should be able to get him into the low 14's...ie., until he posts a dyno slip on his car, he is not making 259 HP so you can't use that as a yardstick...

I hate myself!! Alla you Cannucks, leave me alone!!

They have nothing to say because buying their Carter fuel pumps drained their financial resources after their Dellorto/Weber carbs. They, them, those people would never pony up for an expensive tech instrument like the G-Tech. I'll say this again. I used the G-Tech (yes, I have one...) in the TCC SE campus to establish an average 130 HP reading. Some went as low as 123 HP, but that was at that beginning while I was getting launch technique down. A year later, that same combo without even a major tune-up except for plugs was what was on the chassis dyno at Alamo Autosports when it spit out the 113 rwhp number. Figure about 15% loss throught he drivetrain and you're only 4 HP off...not bad... Now the shooting can begin!!
