GTX 12A turbo engine info?

I have future plans to someday order a 12A turbo engine. Anyone know if the engine is any different than regular 12a's? Basicly would a normal 12A rebuild kit work with them?

Is the compression any different?

The main differences in the block are lower compression and a lot smaller ports. There's been heaps of threads about this so do a search and I'm sure you'll find what you need to know.

Oops, my mistake. It's the GT-X. A 12A turbo 1st gen only sold in japan.
