gslse problems

ok im being dealing the past days with my new engine and now i have another problem. im being trying to start the car since yesterday and it starts, idle fine, but wonce i give some gas, it revs up but cuts off and on. it wasnt doing this before and i never experience something like it so i dont know. what i think it could be is that could be a frozen sensor or someting because it was verry cold for a couple of days ago, well under -30 degree for a about 3-4 days strait and i didnt started the car. i have fresh gas on it and i put a fuel deicer too so it could be something frozen or what? any suggestions? thanks

BTW is a 84 gslse with a turbo II engine without the turbo, gslse fuel and ecu sistem

Find out if it does it after the engine is fully warmed up. Check and see if any of the throttle body linakges are binding.. perhaps the TPS is stuck.

checking the TPS & throttle body is a good idea but I would also suggest to pay careful attention to any possible vacuum leaks.

What kind of work were you doing with it??

it does it every time, warm, cold. i know is not the cable of the TPS or vaccum is not a spark plug or the wires ethier. compression ether or cats because it dont have them. the only thing i work on is that i had to chage the trust bearing s on the front of the engine because it chew one of them, what i think is that is off timing but i dont know i put the dizzy back like always. it cuts off and off like you turn the key off and on and i start it today and it when pass half on temperature. like it said i dont know hwat happened, i didnt took anything off exept the front cover. i have to take it off the cover anyways to check smomething in it and make sure is on time.
