GSL vs GSL-SE LSD

I heard there was a difference between the GSL and GSL-SE LSD, but I don't remember what that difference was. I can't find the thread it was mentioned in either.

Something about the clutch plates... Number of them, size, something...

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

This has nothing to do with the gears or axles or anything... Just the LSD itself.

It's just a random tidbit of incomplete info floating around my head... If I don't find the answer it'll bug me.

What they mean is that the GSL-SE has one fewer clutch plate. The GSL has 4; it has 3.

Yeah... 3.91 vs 4.10... But if you have an aftermarket gearset, it doesn't matter which is why I excluded the gear info...

So, about the diff, I guess that missing clutch plate changes the characteristics of the limited slip abilities?

Hey! We never did get a response to this...

Don't make me go into the kitchen and do more Emeril impersonations... Really. Please don't. The apartment complex is gonna evict me if they've gotta have the fire department out here one more time for my "experiments"...
