What kind of muffler and how long ago?

That's an important question to answer because not all mufflers last long against the heat of rotary engine exhaust.... Depending on the quality of the muffler it may need replacement in the near furture, or it may not.

And I think it's kinda funny that someone would put a muffler and k&n on a Cali-equipped vehicle... but I guess you do what you can despite the stringent restrictions of the state. Good luck selling the car, I'm sure if someone on here picks it up it'll have a good home

Jon

Muffler is ok to change because it's after the cat.
K&N could be a panel filter, which is also ok.

I sure hope so anyways!

I've got the RB muffler, and a K&N filter, on my CA car... then again, I am cat-less.... at least until I have to pass smog next year.
